Covid 19


FMG Repair Services is fully committed to protecting customers, colleagues and the wider public. As a business deemed essential by the UK government we continue to operate throughout the restrictions. Many of our colleagues are unable to work from home especially in our Repair Centres and we make every effort to ensure their safety and that of our customers.

We have taken a robust approach to providing a Covid secure environment for customers to ensure they can be confident that their vehicle can be delivered, repaired and collected safely. If you are using one of our courtesy cars you can be confident we ensure that it has been thoroughly cleaned before and after use for your safety.

Our business follows all of the appropriate guidance from the UK and devolved governments and we communicate these obligations and the expectations and requirements our business has in response to them. This does mean that we are allowing reduced numbers.



Customers

We ask that customers make us aware if they are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms, are self-isolating or have been diagnosed with Covid-19. This ensures that we can continue to provide service and work on their vehicles whilst implementing additional Covid safety measures. Customers must notify us if this changes during the period of their vehicle repair.

Anyone displaying symptoms should not visit a repair centre.

We have restricted the number of customers permitted in our reception areas at any time to one. If you arrive at the repair centre whilst there is a customer in reception you should wait in your vehicle, until a colleague advises you to enter the reception. We kindly ask that customers do not wait in reception whilst the vehicle is being estimated/inspected.

Only one customer, or anyone who isn’t a reception team member, or who’s work station isn’t in that room at any one time. The government’s two metre distancing rule is to be adhered to at all times. If more than one customer is present at one time they must be asked to wait in their vehicle and will be made aware when they can enter.

We kindly ask that customers do not wait in reception whilst the vehicle is being estimated/inspected.
